According to the latest Official PlayStation Magazine, the the first two Grand Theft Auto titles along with Street Fighter Alpha are on their way to PSN (UPDATE: you may remember that SFA was rated by the ESRB a few weeks back).

In-game messaging info spotted on PS3 website

This could be found on the official PlayStation website before it was taken down. A NeoGaffer reader did, however, manage to snap it before that happened, for our speculative pleasure. It's a bit blurry, so in case you're wondering it says the following: "Talk to others during game play, say hello anytime you're online, or have a video chat with an Eye camera; USB Camera or headset."

Και οι ειδησουλες keep on coming.

Report: PS3 sold faster than Xbox 360 for same period

In a recent report released by VG Chartz, it was found that the Playstation 3 sold better in its first 14 months than the Xbox 360 did during the same period. According to VG Chartz, the Xbox 360 took four months longer to hit the 10 million units sold mark in its cycle than the PS3, which hit 10 million units worldwide in January. The numbers also show that the PS3 has been selling more consistently worldwide, rather than the Xbox 360's predominate strength in the North American market. February is turning out to be a whole host of good announcements for the PS3!

;)

The PSN remake of the original NES game Bionic Commando is pegged to be unleashed onto the PSN Store this May. The news comes out of various interviews during GDC with Capcom representatives. This is a lot earlier than we expected to see it, but we're certainly not complaining!

1Up is also reporting that the PSN version of Rearmed will feature higher-resolution textures than the Xbox Live version. This is due to Microsoft's 150MB limit for games on Xbox Live Arcade putting restrictions on the file size of the game's textures. It's nice to know that Capcom won't have to compromise the quality of the game for the PlayStation Network.

the XBLA version will in fact have lower-res textures than the PS3/PC versions
